A Police Criminal Records Check is a type of check intended for applicants who are involved as a volunteer, employee, or in any situation where a basic police criminal records check is requested. Examples might be for general labour, retail sales, moving abroad, dealing with U.S. Customs and Immigration, attending school outside Canada, etc.
The PCRC is not intended for persons working with the vulnerable sector.
This search is based upon a query of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s National Repository for Criminal Records in Canada. It is NOT confirmed by fingerprints.
If any applicant has a criminal conviction, this check can only be provided by the local Police Service where the applicant resides.
