Police Record Checks
Welcome to the Sarnia Police Service's new online process for persons needing a police record check for volunteer, student or employment purposes. This system allows you to apply for a police record check 24 hours a day without having to attend our facility. All aspects of the process - including verification of your identification, and fee payment - are handled electronically. If there are no concerns or follow-up required, your record check documents will be returned to you.
Please note: Those under the age of 18 are not able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check. Only applicants under the age of 18 that are applying for any employment in the municipal, provincial or federal government jobs are able to apply for a CRC
You cannot apply on behalf of another person. Authentication questions will be based on the applicant's personal credit file, and the questions are timed to ensure a prompt response and to further enhance security and privacy. If you fail to authenticate your identification, you will be required to upload photos of your two pieces of valid Government issued identification, one ID with a photo, and take a selfie holding the same two ID provided.
