Welcome to the Taber Police Service's online application system for police information checks. This system allows you to apply 24 hours a day without having to attend our facility. All aspects of the process - including verification of your identification, and fee payment - are handled electronically. If there are no concerns or follow-up required, you will receive an email with instructions on how to download your police information check certificate.
You cannot apply on behalf of another person. Authentication questions will be based on the applicant's personal credit file, and the questions are timed to ensure a prompt response and to further enhance security and privacy. If you fail to authenticate your identification, you will be required to upload photos of your two pieces of valid Government issued identification, one ID with a photo, and take a selfie holding the same two ID provided.

The Taber Police Service will return the results of the check to the applicant only. We will not provide the results to a third-party organization or employer under any circumstances.
It is imperative that accurate email address be provided as this is the method of contact to release your results document to you.
Note about Vulnerable Sector (VS)
* Vulnerable Sector Checks MUST be performed by the municipality you reside in. If you are needing a VS check, go to your municipal Police Agency's website.
VS Applies to individuals that intend to work and/or volunteer with Vulnerable Person(s).
A Vulnerable Person is defined as a person who may be in need of community care services by a reason of mental illness, developmental disability or delay, other disability, age, illness or emotional disturbance.
(e.g. Nurse, Teacher, Youth Coaches, Day Care Provider, Security Guard, Uber/Taxi Driver)
