Local police services, like the Barrie Police Service, provide information not included in criminal record checks offered by third-party private companies, that only reference the RCMP National Repository of Criminal Records.

Intended for applicants who are involved as a volunteer, employee or in any situation where a basic CRC is requested (i.e., retail or immigration).

Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)

Intended for applicants who are seeking volunteer and/or employment with agencies who require a record check.

Vulnerable Sector Check
(VSC)

Restricted to applicants seeking employment and/or volunteering with vulnerable individuals.
